To change the displayed temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius, or vice versa, perform these steps:

1. Power off your air conditioner for at least 10 seconds.
2. Power on your the AC using either the control panel or the remote control.
3. Press and release the SLEEP button 8 times.   This must be done within 8 seconds.
4. Within a few moments the display should switch over

If the mode does not change start over at step one and try again.
